Privacy policy
Last updated 13 October 2026
Mynted is preparing to open. This policy explains how we handle personal information in the meantime: what we collect when you visit this website or email us, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. We will publish a full policy before we offer any banking services.
Who we are
In this policy, “Mynted”, “we” and “us” mean Mynted Pty Limited (ACN 647 352 145). We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
When you email us, we collect your name, your email address and anything else you choose to include, such as your company, your role, your phone number or details about your business.
When you visit this website, our web host automatically records technical details of each visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the page you requested and the time.
This website does not set cookies or use analytics or advertising tools. Our fonts are served by Google Fonts, so your browser also sends your IP address to Google when a page loads.
Please don’t email us sensitive information, such as health information, or financial details such as account or card numbers.
How we collect it
We collect personal information directly from you when you email us, and automatically from your browser when you visit this website. Someone who introduces you to us, such as your broker, accountant or a colleague, may also give us your details. If that happens, we will tell you when we first contact you.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry.
- To consider whether we can offer your company an invitation when we open, and to contact you about it.
- To keep a record of our correspondence.
- To run and secure this website, including detecting misuse.
- To meet our legal obligations.
We will not add you to a mailing list or send you marketing unless you ask us to. If you do, you can ask us to stop at any time.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with:
- the service providers who host our website and email, under arrangements that require them to protect it;
- our professional advisers, such as lawyers and auditors;
- government bodies, regulators and law enforcement agencies, when the law requires or permits it; and
- anyone else you ask us to share it with.
Information held outside Australia
Our email is provided by Microsoft 365 and stored in Australia. Some of our other service providers store or process information outside Australia:
- Wix, our web host, stores website logs in the United States and Ireland.
- Google, which serves our fonts, processes those requests outside Australia.
How we protect it and how long we keep it
We keep personal information in our email and website hosting systems, and only the people who need it for their work can access it. We take reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access, change or disclosure.
Email is not a completely secure way to send information, so please include only what we need to reply to you.
We keep enquiries for up to two years after we last hear from you, unless the law requires us to keep them longer. After that we delete them or remove anything that identifies you.
If a data breach is likely to cause you serious harm, we will tell you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, as the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme requires.
Staying anonymous
You can ask us a general question without telling us who you are, or by using a different name. To consider your company for an invitation, we need to know who you are.
Seeing and correcting your information
You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it. Email . We do not charge for these requests and will respond within 30 days. If we refuse a request, we will tell you why in writing and explain how to complain.
Complaints
If you think we have mishandled your personal information, email with the details. We will acknowledge your complaint within five business days and aim to resolve it within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when we change how we handle personal information, and before we offer any banking services. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
